Win $35,000 in Writing Contests This Fall

August 14, 2018

As the leaves begin to turn colors in New England, and the waters of the Pacific begin to cool, we writers turn our thoughts to coffee mugs, sweaters, and early mornings with our laptops. Autumn is one of my favorite times to get back into the rhythm of writing. This Fall, there are several excellent contests where you can submit your work.

Why submit to a writing contest?

- It helps you stick to your writing goals.

- It gives you a timeline to complete a draft of your work.

- It offers you money.

- Writing awards offer prestige within the industry.

- It feels good to accomplish a submission.
